MISSION
The prayer ministry exists to pray and encourage people to connect to Jesus Christ through prayer. Prayer is power and so the Elmont Temple prayer team is passionate about empowering everyone that is willing, with the tools of effective praying. The ministry is committed to serve the corporate church and the Elmont community by praying fervently for our community, members, leaders, Pastor, and persons who so desire.
VISION
The vision of the prayer ministry is that every person will be blessed, their prayer lives will be positively impacted, and souls will be won for Jesus Christ.
GOALS / OBJECTIVES
- To Help every member to develop, "a culture of prayer" where prayer becomes a necessity and a priority in their daily lives.
- To encourage ministry leaders to effectively promote prayer as an integral part of the success of any ministry.
- To establish Elmont Temple SDA church as the community "House of Prayer." (Isaiah 56:7)
